Launcher just closes when trying to launch the game

Haven't been playing in a while and wanted to checkout new stuff. Tried to run the new version but every time I click to play in launcher it just closes and nothing happens. I chose for it to not close after launching the game but then when I tried to launch the game it closed regardless. Tried using beta launcher with no change. I have absolutely no idea what on earht is going on.
