Unable to Fetch News

I restarted my Mac and I checked the box that made all the programs reopen when the computer started again. When the Minecraft launcher opened up again, it took a bit to load and then it said "Unable to fetch news" in the top right corner. When I restarted the launcher, the news was fine.
