Cant connect to world Minecraft PE

I bought MC PE on ios yesterday and wanted to play with my brother. We have same version and hes playing on android. When i try to connect to hes server its shows - unable to connect to world. I spent 8 eur so i can play game with glitch ? I am mad and hope i will get fix soon.
