stuck on loading screen

Hi so yesterday I got Minecraft java and it worked fine but today I tried to get on and I pressed the play button on launcher and it kept me on the loading screen for a hour. I tried resetting my computer, uninstalling the app and getting it back nothing is working and I don't know what to do about it
