Minecraft Launcher only show's gray screen

I have played the demo of minecraft for like a day and thought about buying the game (what I have done) but the next day when I opened the minecraft launch it would only show me a gray screen and nothing els. I have deleted and reinstalled the launch more then I can count but it stayed the same. so can some one please give some advise on what to do because at this point i have tried everything.
