Minecraft says im offline

Whenever i try to log into my minecraft java launcher, It keeps saying "Sorry! Make sure you are online and try again.". I am online when i am doing this and now i cant play minecraft. I know nothing about files and computing and stuff like that so im hopeless. If you can help please do!
