Error Logging in

So I am using Curseforge for minecraft modded gameplay and I am having an issue where I have to login once I start up the modpack but whenever I enter my login info. it says invalid. I have reset my password multiple times on Microsoft to try and resolve this since when I bought Minecraft it didn't ask me to create a Mojang account. Please help, I just want to enjoy this game with my friends.
