Minecraft Launcher Blank Screen using DisplayLink Dock (MacOS)

Steps to reproduce:

1. Use a DisplayLink dock (I use a Plugable USB dock) with DisplayLink Manager 1.1.0 with at least one monitor plugged into it.
2. Attempt to start the latest version of Minecraft (1.16.4) using the launcher (2.2.910).
3. Note the window briefly appears then goes black. No selections can be made.

Please note that if I unplug the dock, start the launcher then plug it back in, both the Minecraft Launcher and the game run perfectly fine. There seems to be an issue at start-up that prevents the launcher from initially displaying correctly.

 

Attempts to fix:

• Restarting the machine has no effect
• Re-installing a fresh version of Minecraft does not work
• Tried clearing cache/settings in Library - did not work
