not responding

when i load up minecraft using the launcher, it freezes as soon as the loading bar hits ~80%. It affects all versions of the game. although, when I use a third party platform to launch the game, it is able to run.

I've tried running the game as admin as well as  re-downloading both the launcher and Java.
