can't change the skin

I followed the steps to change my skin in minecraft java.However it isn't work,I changed the skin but it is still Alex in game.I tried many ways to solve the problem like logged out and logged in again, deleted the skin and put it back ,restart the computer, even deleted the app minecraft launcher.How can I do?
