Launcher incorrectly verifies password

At login the launcher states that the email or password informed are incorrect, however if typed somewhere else (e.g. a word processor, chrome's URL bar) and copy/pasted on the Launcher's password field, it logins just fine.

My guess is that it is not correctly handling Latin1 characters, since my password contains characters with accent (e.g. á, ẽ, ô), and probably that's why it may not be affecting many users.
