Wont launch CurseForge Mods through current MC Launcher

Hello, 

I've downloaded a handful of mods through Twitch and now OverWolf. 

When launching the mods through the current version of Minecraft Java Editions Launcher it crashes immediately. At one point in time I was able to use MC Launcher version 1.6.93 to fix this problem. Now with OverWolf, I haven't been able to get the older launcher to load from the new CurseForge mod platform. 

What is the technical fix that I can apply to get around this issue of my forge versions crashing and keep enjoying moded Minecraft?

Forge Version: 35.1.4
