1.16.4-pre1 and 1.16.4-pre2 are said to include the latest player safety features

The bug

The versions 1.16.4-pre1 and 1.16.4-pre2 are considered by the Minecraft Launcher to contain the latest player safety features. This means that a user is not presented with a warning when attempting to open one of these versions.

However, both of these versions do not include the hiding of matched names, and 1.16.4-pre1 does not include blocking players. These are important features in the Social Interactions menu, which is said by this article to be the only player safety feature accessible with a Mojang account:

Newer game versions (1.16.4 and up) using a Mojang Account

  • The Social Interactions screen, which enables you to view all players on the server and hide their chat messages.

How to reproduce

  1. Create an installation with its version set to either 1.16.4-pre1 or 1.16.4-pre2
  2. Attempt to launch the installation
Observe how you are not presented with a warning

Screenshots have been attached to this report, demonstrating the lack of a warning.
