CORS Error: Unable to login using launcher/website or mojang platform

I've tried to login to my minecraft account via the both the Windows and Linux launcher (windows is my primary platform).
After logging in I get the error notification "Invalid email or password", after resetting my password I still received this error.

As this page suggested (https://help.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/articles/360035130931-Unable-to-login) I waited 30 minuters, 1 hour and 24 hours before retrying, this did not resolve the issue.

After I dug into the issue more on my local system (Windows) I found out i received a CORS error when logging into minecraft.net for the request to authserver.mojang.com (see screenshots).

Logging into account.mojang.com gave me a 403 response from cloudfront (see screenshots)

Minecraft support suggested me to try incognito mode in the browser and try again, I tried this along with clearing local DNS and neither of these solutions fixed the issue.
