Pressing "Play" and dissapers like normal but nothing shows up

Nothing showing up when I press play

What I expected to happen was...:
I thought after I clicked "play" it would disappear and Minecraft would start.

What actually happened was...:
It disappeared and nothing happened to this second.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Launch the launcher.
2. Click"Play".
3. Nothing happens.
