Skins issue in Launcher

I cannot save new skins to the library nor duplicate said skins. No matter what I try, it gives me an error message in the top right corner of the screen saying "Unable to duplicate skin" or "Unable to save skin". I can upload a skin through the website, but I cannot save any custom skins to the launcher's library for some reason. I don't know how to fix this.
