New account cannot access Realms

Good evening Mojang,

I paid + installed Minecraft launcher to connect to my brothers Realm. I had no issue installing and launching the program + making my own world. However, following a successful invite from my brother to his Realm (OranCraft), it does not allow me to enter / load.

Initially I looked to my Firewall / Windows Defender and got nowhere, despite creating Inbound Rules highlighted online. When my brother, who lives in a different city, tried my account on a spare laptop, it still didn't load on his end either. There were no others in his Realm and the laptop is used to enter that specific Realm without issue.

Please respond if you have any proposed solutions which I can try to resolve this. This does not appear to be a firewall issue and it seems like my account has no permission to access Realms (or my brother's Realm, at least).
