Crashes after continue button

I have minecraft version 1.16.40 (Pocket edition) and my friends also but when i signed in to minecraft it signed in successfully but when my friends try to login minecraft they reach a stage at when there is a button of continue and when they click it there comes a vlack screen or the game crashes . i am reporting this because my friends don't know how to report and we also want to play together . so,please solve this issue mojang . i do not know what to write in affects version.
