I cannot login to the Minecraft Launcher

I recently purchased the Minecraft game and created a profile that is linked to my Microsoft account. The Minecraft application and game work and show that I am an active member of the community. 

I separately downloaded the Minecraft MC Eternal mod through Twitch. After successful download, I cannot log in to the Minecraft Launcher. I used my Minecraft credentials and those do not work. I attempted to reset through my email, but I did not receive any email after multiple attempts. I did check my spam and junk folders to no avail.

Please direct me on how to fix this issue.
