Can't complete syncinfo and start Minecraft

Whenever I start Minecraft it will attempt to do syncinfo jobs. What happens with me is that these jobs either don't complete, or just seems to complete and doesn't do anything afterwards. I think it might be an internet problem (my internet is extremely slow); however, I think it's more than that. I left Minecraft on for an hour with no success. The launcher shows no problem at all, it just doesn't do anything.

This problem is completely random. Sometimes I am able to start Minecraft within 5 seconds, others it can take 5 minutes, and sometimes it just never starts at all. When I turn off my internet and start Minecraft in offline mode, it almost takes no time to open.

Again, I'm not sure what the problem is and it is very strange for me. This started happening as soon as the new launcher came out, I never had any problems at all with the 1.5 launcher. I'm pretty sure it has something to do with syncinfo. I used to be able to put up with opening and closing the Minecraft launcher 10 times to actually start the game, but now I can do the same for 20 minutes without success.

Is there any way to fix this, or is it really a pure internet problem? If it's an internet problem, I really wouldn't understand. How can I play on servers fine but can't get a few files that have almost no data in them?

*I attached a picture of my log, even though I don't know how it could help. Again, problem is completely random and startup is too. Sometimes it never seems to finish versions and libraries, other times resources can start and find no files to add, then just wouldn't continue.*
