Minecraft Launcher Won't Launch Minecraft

Every time I have tried to open Minecraft for the past few weeks, I receive a crash report describing trouble with the Java initialization. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Minecraft many times, going so much as to completely remove it from the PC under %appdata% and uninstalling it through Programs in the Windows search bar. I have already tried putting on a Windows Vista compatibility mode and seeing if the gam will start as many YouTube videos suggested, but this does not work either. Please help!
