Minecraft not launching

When trying to open Minecraft, it says 

Error: could not open `C:\Program Files (x86)\Minecraft\runtime\jre-x64\lib\amd64\jvm.cfg'

and launcher says unexpected error has occurred

I am using the latest Java (as of 6th of July) and I've made sure I don't have any out of date versions installed, same with the launcher.

What do?
