Launcher constantly crashing

I have been trying to open Minecraft itself for a just under a week and every time it seems to crash. Literally, every time. I have tried all of the listed things:

• Uninstalled and reinstalled MC
• Restarted my PC multiple times
• Uninstalled and reinstalled Java 

I am unsure of what to do now as I cannot even play multiplayer properly when I do the "properties > compatibility > Run this program compatibility mode for > Windows Vista". I am not panicking yet, however, I will admit that I am a little worried.
