Unable to log into Minecraft Java Launcher as well as minecraft.net

Upon clicking 'Log In,' the button only turns grey and does not proceed to change in any manner at all. 

In the https://account.mojang.com/me, I have tried to log in with my new password, as well as my previous. This only resulted in the 'Invalid email or password' pop out, each after 3 attempts every time. I am able to log into my Mojang account, however, at https://account.mojang.com/me. I have retried logging in over the past few months, each being futile, so i took to this site. Please help this issue. I do not know if this is a bug, or just neglect to the online system, but please help.
