Sound Bug

Recently I have had issues with the sound not registering within the Minecraft Launcher. I ended up re-downloading the launcher itself and that was the only way to fix it; however, when I logged on today the sound was broken again... I am not entirely certain why this takes place but it would be prudent to fix, since it can drastically affect gameplay.
