Login failure purgatory

When I click "LOG IN" in the Dungeons Launcher, the loading "..." appears for a bit before I receive an error message in the corner saying "failed to login. please login again!" The login prompt never appeared, it just keeps giving the same error.

Note: The affected version may not be 2.1.15036,(I don't have a way to check) but the problem happens with the latest version of the launcher as of 12:00 AM MST on May 29th 2020
