When I get on game it’s like the blocks you put down disappears and it puts two blocks in front of you

It’s like you put a block down and that block disappears and puts two of the same block in your face. I did it building a house and I put the block down and it wasn’t there but then a chicken jumped up then the block was there and suffocated the chicken. Poor little guy.
