Launcher won't recognize I have the game

I know it isn't the best way to buy Minecraft, but I ended up buying Minecraft Dungeons on the Microsoft store and later downloaded the launcher for Minecraft Dungeons. It doesn't recognize I have the game and therefore tells me to buy the game again. I understand if you are unable to fix this issue, I just wanted to bring this to your attention, thank you.
