Minecraft Dungeons Launcher doesn't work properly

When I open Minecraft Dungeons Launcher, the red bar with text appears at the bottom of the screen. The text says: "Some players may see a notification that a launcher update is available for their launcher. If you see this notice, do not uninstall the launcher. Please restart your launcher to install the update." After I press the "Play" button, it looks like it was pressed but ot doesn't start the game. I tried restarting the launcher, and also "repairing" it.
