Minecraft Launcher Demo Version can not launch 1.0 version of Minecraft.

Hello! This bug is for the demo of Minecraft.

Today when I was trying to playing Minecraft 1.0, (not from classic.minecraft.net), It didn’t load I got a purple / black screen showing my desktop but all glitched up! This is very weird check here.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Went on Minecraft Launch.
2. Go to installation section. 
3. Then played the 1.0 version of Minecraft Java Editon. 
Observed Results:
Purple and black with my desktop there and glitched screen.  
Expected Results:
Brings up Minecraft Java Editon 1.0
