Minecraft files

I just recently downloaded Minecraft Windows 10 to be apart of the RTX Beta. I'm trying to download things that would allow me to convert a normal world into an rtx one. It requires me to download forge. During this process, it says it cant find the directory. All online sources say to find .minecraft or minecraftlauncher.exe. Neither of these files exists on my PC and I can really find any of my minecraft data. I can really only access any limited information from the Windows Store. What do I need to do moving forward?
