Game crashes everytime I try to start it

Whenever I try to launch the game (Java edition), the launcher disappears as if it is launching the game but then it comes back and displays a game crash error and says that the game has crashed because an unexpected error has occurred. This happens on all devices that can launch Minecraft Pc java edition but the device I want it fixed on the most has Windows 10. Also, it sometimes launches the game but just gives a black screen which, upon closing, brings back the crash report.
