Crashes when I try to load 1.11.2 On Ubuntu Launcher

I recently tried to load up 1.11.2 on my ubuntu operating system because I had downloaded a command block map and I knew the ubuntu instilation on my laptop would run faster than the windows instilation. I opened the launcher, and the moment I tried launching the game in 1.11.2 I got the below error message.

Game Crashed
An unexpected error occurred and the game has crashed. We're sorry for the inconvenience.

I dont know if this is an error in the new launcher itself, or if it's my laptop or internet's fault, but it allows me to load the versions I have previously loaded.

Edit- Same problem occurs with 1.12.2. I have attached those files too.
