Not able to launch after switching users on Macbook

Minecraft launcher will not work after switching users on a Macbook. Have to reinstall, drag and drop every time users switched. This seems to be a problem for years. Can't this be solved?

Using macOS Catalina 10.15.4 (19E266) and latest Minecraft download.
