Minecraft "Please make sure you're online and try again"

So this issue has persisted over the course of a couple of days. 3 days ago from the time im writing this I was able to log into the game fine with no complications, however after logging off that night, the next day I found myself unable to reconnect to go online. I logged out thinking it was just a visual bug but was completely unable to log back in following the attempt. I am repeatedly met with the error message "Please make sure you're online and try again". I am connected to wifi so there are no issues on that front, I have removed and reinstalled the game multiple times, ran as administrator, switched DNS, and even run from a third party launcher, all to no help. I am also unable to login to Minecraft.net, where it wont even register that I am clicking the login button. If anyone knows a possible fix please let me know!
