Launcher does not work on Musl

The new Minecraft 2.0 launcher is no longer a JAR file and doesn't execute on Alpine Linux or other Musl libc based distributions due to it being compiled for Glibc. This new launcher makes Minecraft much less portable, and impossible to run on anything that isn't x86_64. I'd like to request that the launcher be compiled for musl, or if possible be made open source so that distributions can package it properly.
