Syncing data screen

Can't get past syncing data screen. I've tried multiple times waiting 30 min each time .
I uninstalled the game and all data. Reinstalled the game and I still can play. With the quarantine on this is the only game I can play with my son and I would be greatly appreciated if this issue could be resolved. Thank you
