Zombies not spawning from zombie spawner.

I have a zombie xp grinder/ drop farm. As of last night it was pumping out zombies. When I logged on today no zombies would spawn. I had villagers in the area and thought that was the issue so I moved them. No fix. I logged in and out and restarted my device but nothing would fix this.
