MInecraft crashes as minecraft.exe is opened

I attempt to open the minecraft.exe to open the launcher and it opens for 1 second and closes out giving a log file. I attempted to reinstall java, video card drivers and nothing changes the error. I also downloaded another version of the launcher and received the same error.
