Minecraft does not launch after I click play

I must report this as it seems I am the only one with these exact circumstances. I've had this issue for a few months now and have tried everything from completely wiping Minecraft out and reinstalling, removing any and all mods, resource packs etc., administrator permissions, whatever solution you can name. 
When booting up the launcher everything goes fine, even when clicking play. The launcher will start to download resources or whatever it needs to, but when it's done, and the game is meant to launch, nothing happens, and the launcher becomes completely unresponsive. I decided to keep the game log output up to see where anything could be going wrong, but even that doesn't tell me. Everything goes completely fine, no errors, no warnings, no fatal errors, nothing. This happens on every version of the game and it always yields the same result. I've checked my graphics drivers, if my processors need to update, CPU performance, everything, but nothing fixes these issues.
