Minecraft Launcher won't launch Minecraft

I have no problem when loading Minecraft Launcher and it prepares just fine but when it's loading at the Mojang screen it pauses half way,then stops at the end before it finishes loading and it's like my screen is frozen yet when I click the screen I get the options to either close it or wait for the page to respond but it never responds.I've done about an hour worth of scanning to see if there is an issue with malware on my computer and nothing has shown as a threat,I believe it's just my Minecraft Launcher,is it worth deleting my Minecraft Launcher and redownloading or is it just an unsolved recent bug as I came here looking for a possible solution and found someone else is/was having the same exact problem with Minecraft Launcher.
