Launcher says I'm not online and to try again when logging in

When I try to sign into my Minecraft account, it says "Sorry! Make sure you are online and try again." I don't know how to fix this problem, so I need help. I have tried switching internet connections, rebooting my PC, and using other versions of the launcher.
