Launcher wouldn't start

At first, after releasing 1.15 the launcher was still working but failed to connect to the internet to update to the new version or in the game - to game servers

after downloading the latest version of MCL from the website and reinstalling it the launcher doesn't start at all and keeps telling me about the failure 

tried several times, nothing changed
