Minecraft Launcher stuck on forge option. Cannot create new version installation

Installed minecraft forge and was working fine. Tried allocate more RAM and change version to 1.12.2 and all previous installations are gone. I cannot create any new installations, when trying to make a new installation you cannot type in or choose any version. Uninstalled forge and option is still there and you cannot click to change.
