Not Responding

I just got the Minecraft Java Version 1.14.4 and every time I try to click PLAY it always loads up like normal then it says (Not Responding) ands then it stays like that. I don't know what else to do about it. I've already uninstalled it and reinstalled it many times and I always get the same message.
