These last few days i haven't been able to open my minecraft launcher

These past few days i really wanted to play minecraft, but trying to open my launcher it just wont, nothing pops up (no explination) and it's kinda annoying, i dont know if it has anything to do with what computer i am using because i have played on this pc for a few months now with no problem. (Acer Aspire 1). Please help me on this one
