Network is unreachable

This is for version 1.8.9. The affects and version wouldn't accept 1.8.9

I am currently trying to troubleshoot as to why I am receiving a Java.net.socketException: The network is unreachable. As of last night, I received my desktop had a windows update and a Minecraft launcher update and now I am currently unable to connect to any servers.
