White screen then nothing

I have no idea what the options are that I have been asked to select but we have an issue with the mine craft app on our iPad 2.

On launching the Minecraft app on our iPad 2 the mojang symbol appears then we just get a white screen and after about 15s the whole thing just crashes to the iPad desktop.

i have tried removing other apps and multiple reboot but always the same. It was fine yesterday with occasional similar episodes over the last year but this time it feels permanent.
