I cant play minecraft Java Edition

I cant play minecraft java edition, it shows the loading bar and then stops loading. when i click, it says that it is not responding and tells me to restart java edition and i do so. However, this keeps happening when i do it. One time i left it for 15 hours and 30 minutes but it still didn't work. Any help with this would be necessary as i bought java edition, to not use it. Please help me with this problem. I do not want to waste good money on a game that wont open.

 

ps. The launcher opens, its just when i click "Play".
