Won't continue to download/play Minecraft.

I play MineCraft all the time. then i got a new computer. (same type as before) and i download the new launcher, wait for it to complete download once i log in. Then it says: download complete with one issue. yet there is no MineCraft launcher opening and now i cannot play mineCraft PS:i have reloaded this and it still doesn't work
